About Style Coach
Haydee Foreman, founder and sole proprietor, has recently completed her training from Image Resources Center Of New York in image consulting. Her course topics included: skin and hair tone analysis, wardrobe and style development, face shape, body line assessment, men’s wear, and personal shopping. She studied with Carol Davidson and Dominique Isbeque who are also faculty members at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s image consultant training program in New York City.
Haydee (pronounced eye-day) fell in love with mid-coast Maine in 1986 when she came from New York City for a short term job as a personal natural foods chef in Bar Harbor. She has lived in Hancock County ever since. Haydee has studied cultural anthropology at UMaine. She also has extensively researched feng shui (for designing homes and gardens) as well as fine crafts (knitting and beadwork). Her love of color and fine workmanship as well as her interest in the textiles of indigenous cultures serves her in her efforts to determine the best colors and fabrics for her clients. Her appreciation of the Maine lifestyle combined with her knowledge of New York fashions help her to find just the right balance between what is needed to survive mud season and looking great. Haydee comes from a long line of creative women. Her mother is a fine artist and her grandmother was a furniture designer.
