Based in Blue Hill, Maine (mid-coast, near Acadia National Park) Haydee will travel anywhere in Hancock, Penobscot, and Waldo Counties. Payment is due upon receipt of services.

Individuals:

  • Haydee and clientInitial Assessment: Haydee will come to you in your home for a two and a half hour session of color, face/body shape, lifestyle, and personality assessment. She will leave you with a workbook that contains recommendations to remind you of what you’ve learned. She will also give you a color fan that shows hundreds of your best colors. You will learn how to do with fewer clothes and wear a higher percentage of your wardrobe. Most women wear twenty percent of their clothes eighty percent of the time. Haydee will teach you what to look for when shopping so you don’t waste time and money. For this first session you’ll be charged $125.00.
  • Closet Organization: As a follow up to what we learned in the first session, you can continue the transformation by inviting Haydee to come back and assess the state of your current wardrobe. During this meeting, the two of you will make a list of clothing and accessory needs. She will help you use the clothes you have in different ways and come up with combinations you may not have thought of yourself. She will help you determine what does not fit correctly, is a poor color choice or style for your body shape etc. There will likely be some clothes that require alterations to improve the fit. This session is billed by the hour and milage is also charged. $50.00/hour $0.45/mile. Average time necessary: four hours.
  • Personal Shopping: Once that list of clothing needs is made, it is time to go shopping. Do you still need some advice? Haydee can meet you in Bangor and help you find the best styles for your shape. She will also help you stay within your budget. She offers consulting on catalog or internet purchases as well. Once you have shopped with her, she is available via email for advice. As the seasons change, careers change or special events arise, you may feel the need for a personal shopper again. $50.00/hour $0.45/mile. Two-hour minimum, four-hour maximum

Groups:

  • Casual Day: Haydee is available to give a one-hour talk on the current expectations of your company for Friday dress. She is also able to work out clear casual-day guidelines for your business if yours are a bit vague.
  • Students: Entering the work force you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Potential employers have to be pretty imaginative to see beyond the piercings and pajama bottoms one sees on college campuses. Students need to be educated on the external as well as internal skills for the workplace. Haydee offers a one-hour “Your Visual Resume 101” seminar to help young graduates reach their potential.
  • Maine Professionals: While living the good life, do we need to look as crisp and conservative as bankers and lawyers in the big cities? Haydee says “not quite, but close”. With the internet and globalization there is no getting away from the fact that business expectations are becoming more and more universal. However, part of the appeal of doing business in Maine is that we are more folksy and down to earth. So how does that translate into our personal and professional image? Haydee’s talk on “The Maine Professional Style” addresses this very question. Hint: it does not include lobsters, loons, moose, or blueberries in any form! This style will carry them from Hong Kong to Fort Kent with ease.

Travel or Referrals: Sometimes a special occasion is particularly important or urgent and the right piece cannot be found in the immediate vicinity or even online. If she is available, Haydee will, for a negotiated fee, travel to New York or Portland with the client because these are cities whose stores she knows well. If she is not available, there are personal shoppers in New York that she can recommend.
